We now have two tents rather than one too!

NEIGHBOURS Nuneaton Town and Coventry City meet at the Triton Showers Community Arena in Liberty Way next Wednesday with club chairman Ian Neale insisting two new stands will be in use for the friendly fixture.

Gone is the old main stand that stood alongside the social club and dressing rooms, making way for an extended decking and corporate lounge area while the new stands will lie either side of the dug outs, the one adjacent to the lounge being for directors, corporate guests and press while the second is for home and away supporters.

Neale said: ''They are being put up on Friday and ready for the Coventry game. The seating numbers will be 480 compared with 256 last season and should we get promoted to the Conference then a permanent stand will be erected in accordance with their regulations. There's a lot of work taken place during the close season while the pitch looks in great shape. There's always something to be done but I'm delighted with the work that's been done.''

''We have more than five weeks to get everything we need in place so I?m confident by the first Blue Square North fixture on Tuesday, August 17, against Ilkeston Town the ground, facilities and pitch will be ready.''
