No dig DJ but just saying that Barwell last season were a very good side but they have lost Cunningham this season so may be weaker.
Francis was meant to play for Kiddy on Wed but didn't play in the end. He seems to follow who will pay him the most anyway so will probably end up at Corby!

No surprise that as Barwell are a good side and Hinckley are a side in transistion after losing some experience BSN playersHi leethal. Did you read my post regarding the goal by Dancer V MK Dons. You would have been well pleased.
Great goal by a player out of his depth. Tries hard but does not really have a best position and lacks just a little quality when in possession.
A good BSN player but I'm not sure he is conference standard.
Good to hear Elvis. Dazza,, problem you have with some players is having some patience to give them chance. With decentcoaches and full time training I'm sure he will improve more again this year. Not sure who your coaches are so that may be a challenge if they are not upto much

DJ, has Liam Francis been playing in your friendlies?
He played in the Full Strength team we put out at Barwell
Has he signed for you? Apparantly we offered him something but have heard nothing back.
I hear he has also trained at Kidderminster and Mansfield Town- not sure he is ready for the BSP yet, but Francis and Munday at Hinckley, that could be a very good partnership in the BSN.

If you talking about him getting a chance from the manager he played every game in the second half of last season and has played every game this pre-season so in that respect i am not sure how much more of a chance he can have. Regards getting a chance from the fans again he has. I know i am not alone in thinking Dance is out of his depth at this level a lot of our fans think the same but he gets no stick or abuse because despite it being clear he lacks the quality for this level he puts the effort in every time he plays.

I don't think he can improve, for me in the 8 months since he has been here i don't think football ability wise he has improved at all.

not sure any of the triallists have signed yet. we can only register a maximum 16 players so i think the club will leave till the last moment before filling up their allocation. obviously this means we risk the chance of players like Morley going for trials elsewhere, but you have to live with the punishments if you break the rules.

Fair enough, seems like the manager rates him so at the end of the day he makes the decisions on who plays! I'm sure he has improved but you just can't see it as he was playing for Redditch!!

We've arranged one last friendly at home to Durham City on the 7th of August.

Full Strength Hinckley United 1 - 0 Full Strength Sutton Coldfield Town
Steph Morley played for us again. looks like he's keeping his options open between us and tamworth, which is fair enough.

Believe our friendly at Vauxhall is going to take place on the pitch next door to the ground as the main pitch is flooded. Uber tinpot.
